I wish I could give a higher rating for Dr. Herman. Dr. Herman a skilled surgeon, has excellent his bedside manners, very patient w his patients. He takes all the time a patient needs explaining everything to you. His entire staff provide a positive experience. They never made me feel uncomfortable. In fact treated me as a friend rather then a patient. His nurse is always reachable and very prompt with getting back to you. I highly recommend Dr. Herman and his staff!!!

I am so grateful I ended up having him do my top surgery. Dr. Herman's bedside manner is the utmost professional and caring. This staff is very LGBTQ+ friendly which makes it a safe space for myself and the community. My top surgery results exceeded my very high expectations. My scars are perfect!!! My nipples are perfect!!! I will forever be grateful for Dr. Herman and his team. They put all my worries at ease. Rebecca, Dr. Herman's nurse, is an incredible human being! She is super diligent and personable! Any time I had a question or concern, she gets back to me right away. Also, Ashley and the entire staff, thank you from the bottom of my heart! If I could give a higher rating than excellent for all aspects of my experience with Dr. Herman, I would. Dr. Herman is not only a skilled surgeon, but his patience and bedside manner is extraordinary. The entire staff work together seamlessly to provide a positive experience.They made me feel comfortable, respected and safe before, during and after surgery. Even going as far as asking what music I liked and giving me warm blankets. If only I could go to this office and Dr. Herman for all my medical needs, I’d be set.

I had FTM top surgery with Dr. Walter Lin and am extremely impressed. Not only do I have excellent results, but Dr. Lin is a great surgeon to work with - professional, thorough, and kind. 100% recommend the Buncke Clinic for gender-affirming surgery!

I had a bilateral mastectomy for gender affirming health care. It was my first surgery and my first time going under anesthesia. I was under the care of some of the best nurses and best doctors. Dr.Herman is amazing overall and I highly recommend him and the Mountainside Hospital where I had my surgery. Best experience and staff hands down

I’m a non-binary person and I got my gender affirming mastectomy with Dr. Herman. He is extremely friendly and always willing to answer all the questions I have. He and his team did a great job with my chest. I look and feel exactly the way I wanted. He also takes special care to pay attention to my particular gender needs, which is great as a non-binary person getting a typically trans masc procedure. The office is super easy to make appointments with and I was able to get my surgery done within a few months of initial appointment. Everyone here is super nice and welcoming. Would definitely recommend him and his team to other trans folks!!!!

I went to Dr. Herman for gender affirming top surgery. Him and his team were nothing short of exceptional and supportive throughout the whole process. I cannot be more happy with my results. I 1000% recommend him for any transgender man seeking top surgery.

Dr. Ibrahim completed my gender confirmation surgery for a double mastectomy in July, and did a fantastic job. Throughout the entire process he and his team were communicative, helping me with my insurance approvals and paperwork and making sure that everything was taken care of. Due to some of my other medical issues I had some minor complications, but Dr Ibrahim came back late in the evening after he’d already gone home to do an emergency surgery for me, and his team was absolutely incredible. Even when I later got sick he worked with the other hospital I was admitted to to make sure that there would be no issues with my recovery. Highly recommend!

I recently had double incision without nipple grafts performed by Dr. Herman and I had a wonderful experience throughout! Although I am not fully healed as of yet, I could not be happier with my results so far. Everyone on Dr. Herman's team was kind, knowledgable, and helpful, providing me with all the information I needed as well as supporting documents for my job. There's a lot of good communication, and I always felt that I could ask more questions or come in for another appointment if I needed to. My surgery date was scheduled very quickly, and every part of the process went smoothly. I am really excited to see how my chest continues to heal, and I definitely reccomend anyone interested in top surgery consider Dr. Herman as a surgeon.

I could not have booked a better surgeon. Dr. Sean Herman was not only incredible during the entire top surgery journey, he was able to accomodate me for my wedding! Got the double bilateral masectomy 6/28, and was healed up and ready to go on 8/1 to get married!!! He's super thorough, answered all my questions, and his staff is awesome. I was recommended to Dr. Sean Herman through a family friend Dr. Ann Chuang (they share the same office). I’d like to say that Dr. Herman and his team were PHENOMENAL through my top surgery journey. From beginning consultations to the actual surgery itself and post-surgery follow-ups, they were helpful, kind, and patient. Dr. Herman listens and is honest and forthcoming about any questions I had. It quickly felt like family, which is so important as this was a life-changing and emotional procedure. My surgeon was Dr. Sean Herman in Montclair NJ. I HIGHLY recommend him. I found out about him on Reddit. His clinic is very professional and they take many insurances. I was out of network but they were able to get my insurance to cover the whole procedure! Update! I got a small revision from him 4 days ago and everything went amazing! I barely had any nausea this time. Update 2! I had top surgery with him and I love my results! I highly recommend Dr. Sean Herman and his team!❤️‍🔥

Top Surgery was my reasoning with Dr Herman and although it’s only been 4 days since surgery I feel great and so thankful. I couldn’t wait to express my thoughts about these guys. The patience and respect Debbie and the staff has given me has been a blessing. Dr Herman walked me through, and explained every detail since day one and I felt right at home.
